- What volunteering roles are there? Currently we would love support with: Petitioning; Flyering/Door-to-Door and/or Face to Face Community Engagement; Writing a Business Plan for the Building as a Community Hub/Space; Researching other former church buildings now operating in Community Ownership; Writing Grant and Funding Applications; Social Media, Press and Marketing; Building relationships with future potential tenants or groups who may like to use the space for classes. Your preferences can be recorded in the Induction Form here.
- How often would I be expected to volunteer? As much or as little as you can and as fits in with your life and other commitments. You will find three tiers of involvement in the Induction Form: Casual (for ad hoc involvement), Regular (once or twice a month involvement) and Steering Group (weekly meetings with additional work on top of that).
